Votorantim’s Trainee Program seeks youths that have just left university, are interested in the areas of activity of the Company and identify with the belief, the mission, the values and the conduct of Votorantim. The objective is to develop internal talents that become the future leaders of Votorantim and that have, particularly, the capacity to involve people and to perform and renew processes.
The current Trainee Program takes place in a unified manner among some Units of Votorantim Industrial. In practice, this unification provides the youths with a full knowledge of the Group, facilitates the understanding of the Votorantim culture and prepares them for opportunities of mobility among the Group’s Units.
For the 2006 Program, 10 thousand youths contended for the 54 vacancies offered by five Industrial Units. During the 12 months of training, each trainee is supervised by a guidance counselor, who assists the individual in the training program and necessary learning processes and in the preparation of projects this trainee will have to develop throughout the program.
