Votorantim Cimentos announced the investments it would make in Brazil by 2013 on 27/4. The expansion will include eight new projects in seven states as well as the conclusion of five plants which are under construction.

The 13 plants will receive investments of around R$ 3.7 billion and increase VC´s cement production by more than 9.5 million tons. “These investments confirm the commitment of Votorantim Cimentos to constant growth in tandem with the development of Brazil," said CEO Walter Schalka. “We will have enough installed capacity to supply all markets and also improve the level of services to our clients.”
