Votorantim is the 23rd company among the 50 most global of Brazil, according to the Multinacionais Brasileiras annual directory organized by the Valor Econômico newspaper and the Brazilian Society of Transnational Corporations and Economic Globalization (Sobeet).

The directory, distributed with the Valor Econômico newspaper today, September 30, draws attention to the most internationally solid Brazilian multinationals according to their percentage of revenue, number of employees and foreign assets compared to total company operations. In addition, the survey highlights the companies' business in various segments.

Some 170 companies with an overseas presence were analyzed, all featuring more than 10% subsidiaries' equity and direct investments exceeding $10 million, according to Central Bank of Brazil criteria.
