The Senator José Ermírio de Moraes Foundation (Funsejem) is a non-profit, private entity responsible for managing retirement plans for the employees of Votorantim Group.
Safe and profitable, it allows employees to plan their futures through the VotorantimPrev and VCNE plans. The latter is closed to new members.
The differential of the Foundation is that besides the amounts contributed by the employee, the Votorantim Group pays on a monthly basis an amount between 25% and 100% of the contribution made by the employee.
The Foundation also makes loans available to participants at rates that are better than those offered by banks.
Created in 1994, Funsejem currently has over 28,000 participants, 300 of whom benefit from monthly pension payments. In December 2009, the entity’s combined assets totaled R$534 million.
