The Senator José Ermírio de Moraes Foundation (Funsejem) is a non-profit, private social security entity responsible for managing retirement plans for the employees of the Votorantim Group.

Safe and profitable, it allows employees to plan their futures through the VotorantimPrev and VCNE plans. The latter is closed to new members.

What is different about the Foundation is that in addition to amounts contributed by the employee, on a monthly basis the Votorantim Group contributes an amount that varies between 25% and 100% of the contribution made by the employee.

The Foundation also makes loans available to participants at rates that are better than those offered by common banks.

Created in 1994, Funsejem currently has more than 28,000 participants, of which 200 are enjoying monthly benefits. In December 2008, the entity's total equity was R$ 445 million.
