Fibria was created in 2009 from the merger between Votorantin Pulp and Paper (VCP) and Aracruz Celulose and currently ranks as the world’s largest pulp producer with a yearly production capacity of 5.2 million tons of market pulp. Fibria is the world's largest manufacturer of hardwood pulp, with a 29.3% market share.

The Votorantim Group holds 29.3% of Fibria's total shares. The company shares are traded in the São Paulo and New York Stock Exchanges.

Pulp

Fibria's main attributes are its high productivity and its quality standards. To maintain this level of excellence, the Company operates according to very high standards in all processes along the productive chain – from eucalyptus cultivation to distribution of finished products.

The Company was a pioneer in the sector receiving Carbon Footprint certification, which measures gas emissions in the production stages in Jacareí (São Paulo State), from forest planting to product delivery at the ports of destination.
