The holding company, Votorantim Finance, controls the Companies in the Group's financial area, carrying out operations within the context of a group of institutions working together: Banco Votorantim (commercial and investment bank), BV Financeira (financing and consumer credit), BV Leasing (commercial leasing operations), Votorantim Asset Management (resource management), and Votorantim CTVM (securities brokerage firm).

Banco Votorantim

Founded in 1988 as a securities broker, Banco Votorantim has stablished itself as one of the ten largest financial institutions in Brazil. It operates in the wholesale, retail, treasury, resource management and brokerage segments. Banco Votorantim stands out for its customized products, excellence in service, and profound knowledge of clients' needs. At the start of 2009, it signed an agreement with Banco do Brasil to create a more competitive, solid and agile institution. The partnership includes the sale of 49.9% of the total capital of Banco Votorantim, keeping its status of private shareholder.

BV Financeira

BV Financeira has many products to meet the financing needs of its clients. With its initial focus on financing vehicles purchases, the operation expanded to personal credit, consigned credit, letters of credit, vehicle refinancing, insurance and construction materials. In 2009, BV Financeira (Votorantim’s financing company) reached an all time record in its lending portfolio totaling R$26.7 billion, a 29% growth over 2008. The company’s consigned credit portfolio rose by 93% over the previous year, while vehicle financing increased by 36%.

Votorantim Asset Management (VAM)

Founded in 1999, VAM manages the assets of third parties. It focuses on creating customized financial solutions for its clients, with active resource management and it operates in the corporate, institutional and private banking segments.

BV Leasing

BV Leasing is responsible for commercial leasing operations in the corporate segment, and for individuals' leasing operations.

Votorantim Brokerage

In the market since 1995, Votorantim Corretora intermediates, structures and manages operations in BM&FBovespa. Recognized for its agility, efficiency and safety, its clients include large corporate groups, institutions, foreign investors and individuals.
