About our businesses

With businesses in the areas of cement, metals (aluminum and polymetallic), steel, energy, pulp, orange juice and finance, in 2001 the company adopted a governance model, which has among its premises a unique management model and definition of values and beliefs that ensure business continuity.

In 2014, this corporate governance model evolved, and the holding company ceased to be a corporate and operational center to become a portfolio manager responsible for monitoring the company's businesses, strategy definitions and macro-guidelines.

In this model, the controlled companies have their own Boards of Directors, giving greater focus and autonomy to the management of their operations, in an increasingly global and complex business environment.
