Long route with biodiesel
Citrosuco will carry out the first long-distance voyage using B24 biodiesel, in line with its sustainability goals. The ship MV Carlos Fischer, with a capacity of 32,000 tons of orange juice, will sail from Santos (SP) to the United States using the renewable fuel, which can reduce carbon emissions by up to 20%. This initiative is aligned with international greenhouse gas reduction targets, such as IMO 2030 and 2050.
