Climate Week NYC

Citrosuco and Reservas Votorantim participated in Climate Week NYC 2025, considered the world’s largest event on climate change. In addition to exclusive sessions and participation in discussions with a highly strategic audience, their presence included the international launch of key programs, such as the Brazilian Citrus Program for Climate Adaptation (BCPCA) developed by Citrosuco in partnership with Itaú BBA, and the pilot project of Brazil’s first national carbon credit trading platform by B3. During the event, an agreement was announced between Motiva and Reservas for the purchase of 27,000 carbon credits generated at Legado das Águas. The credits are produced using the PSA Carbonflor methodology and registered on B3’s platform.

Progress in Sustainability

CBA advanced in the global sustainability ranking by S&P Global (CSA), achieving 74 points in 2025, keeping it among the most sustainable aluminum companies in the world. The company improved by two points, remaining well above the industry average of 32 points, and was internationally recognized for its ESG practices. Among the highlights include community relations (97 points), human rights (93 points), ethics (86 points), and climate strategy (79 points). The data refers to september of this year.

Decarbonization Hub
