Compliance Week

We concluded another edition of Compliance Week, an annual initiative that promotes reflections on ethics and integrity in business for our employees. With the theme “The future is built with awareness – an encounter that connects ethics, neuroscience, and best practices with a forward-looking perspective”, we welcomed at the opening the guest speakers Pedro Calabrez, professor and neuroscientist, and Letícia Sugai, specialist in integrity and ethics. The event also featured a lecture on phishing, which presented strategies to strengthen the culture of information security, in addition to internal initiatives related to our Code of Conduct. Compliance Week extends to the companies in our portfolio, which develop customized programs to address Compliance topics relevant to their business contexts.

Pharmaceutical terminal

Motiva inaugurated a pharmaceutical cargo terminal at Santa Genoveva International Airport, in Goiânia (GO). With an investment of R$ 25 million, this is the first 100% refrigerated terminal in a Brazilian airport. The new facility will be dedicated exclusively to the storage of pharmaceutical, chemical, and hospital products, sectors that require strict temperature and environmental control. The initiative strengthens Goiás’ leadership in the national pharmaceutical industry — the state is responsible for producing 60% of the best-selling medicines in Brazil.
