Hello!
Welcome to our bi-weekly newsletter, where we share news about Votorantim and the companies in our portfolio, along with updates and insights about the market.

Together at COP: Legacy and Future
Five companies from our portfolio have created a dedicated space in Belém (PA) for climate solutions discussions during COP30, which begins on November 10. BV, CBA, Citrosuco, Reservas, and VC will host the Legacy & Future Votorantim Space, designed to connect business leaders, experts, and initiatives that demonstrate how economic and environmental value creation can go hand in hand, through real examples of innovation and sustainability across different sectors. The space is part of the EY House structure, a 3,000-square-meter hub built with renewable resources and materials, including VC cement and CBA aluminum. Consolidating both a physical and social legacy, after COP30 the entire EY House structure will be donated to the Secretariat of Indigenous Peoples of the State of Pará. See the space’s program:
11/12 — Carbon & Climate Transition: discusses the role of companies in the low-carbon economy and in generating value from the forest.
11/14 — Nature & Biodiversity: dialogue focused on the importance of nature as infrastructure and a strategic asset for businesses and communities.
11/17 — Circularity, Innovation & Climate Justice: debate centered on circular industrial solutions and the development of more resilient territories.
Legacy and Future Videocast
The future of business depends in the circular economy: a model that turns waste into new resources and strengthens companies’ competitiveness in a sustainable way. In the new episode of our Legacy and Future videocast, Alvaro Lorenz, from VC, and Luiz Daniel de Campos, from IFC Latin America and the Caribbean, discuss the role of industry in the transition to a low-carbon economy, driving innovation and shared value creation. Coalition for Decarbonization
Citrosuco joined other companies and sector entities in presenting the sectoral plan of the Agriculture Coalition for Decarbonization to the president of COP30, Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago. The coalition brings together 43 organizations committed to accelerating the reduction of emissions in Brazilian agriculture. The study, launched during the event, presents 15 mitigation levers and structural solutions in financing, technology, and governance, reinforcing Brazil’s role as a global leader in regenerative and low-carbon agriculture.
